Born and raised in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, Chuck moved west to attend the University of California, Berkeley, on a full athletic scholarship. He graduated with a B.A. in American Studies with an emphasis in Economics. Out of college, he founded a residential mortgage company in Berkeley, where he continued to train for the 2004 and 2008 U.S. Olympic Track and Field trials, specializing in the open 400m event. During the economic downturn of 2007, Chuck shifted from the track and the mortgage industry to focus on a new sport. In 2007, he was named to the National Bobsled Team and subsequently represented the United States at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. After the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Chuck immediately began his medical device sales career with Stryker Instruments. He was a President’s Club winner during his 5-year tenure while still training for the 2014 Sochi Games. Chuck’s interest in sales and innovation led him to entrepreneurial pursuits. After leaving Stryker, he patented two healthcare software platforms and a medical waste sterilization device. He made a successful exit from his most recent Bio Medical start-up and is now pursuing an MBA at The Citadel along with his lifelong passion for real estate. An avid golfer, Chuck also works part-time as a Player’s Assistant at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island and loves sharing his golf perks with friends and clients. He and his wife, Courtney, relocated to South Carolina from Pebble Beach, CA, in 2020. They call Seabrook Island home and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
